We are committed to building a stronger community.
LOMC members contribute their time, skills and talents to benefit members in need and our community. From charity giving to community support and participation, our community programs include:
For Our Members
In a Pinch
Moms Delivering Meals to Moms in Need
Are you a new mom or a mom in need of a little relief in the kitchen? The In a Pinch volunteers will help prepare (or pick up) a meal and deliver it to you. Please email your requests to the In a Pinch Coordinator. Include your address, number of people to feed, email/phone number, food allergies and preferences.
If you are interested in volunteering please contact the In a Pinch Coordinator or sign up in the In a Pinch Volunteer Subgroup (in BigTent). You’ll be notified when a delivery opportunity becomes available.
For Our Community
Charity Support
Every year, LOMC supports one charity that is selected from nominations submitted by our members. Charities that are nominated must meet specific criteria. Charity support may include fundraising, volunteer time, and/or donation drives.
For more information about this program please download the Charity Support Program Guidelines. Questions? Please contact our Philanthropy Coordinator.
Giving Trees
The Lake Oswego Mothers Club, through the Giving Tree program, provides needed items to the Clackamas Women’s Services shelter every year. Since 1985, this emergency shelter has cared for survivors of domestic or sexual violence. This non-profit organization has dedicated itself to ending domestic and sexual violence against women and children while touching more than 70,000 lives in the community.
Please visit our Giving Trees page for more information about this program.
4th of July Parade
Make your kids dreams come true. Be “IN” the parade! Join your friends as we walk the Lake Oswego 4th of July Parade route. Decorate your kids’ wagons, tricycles, bikes, and strollers.
Festival of the Arts: Kids Day
To celebrate the opening of the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts, the LOMC hosts a booth to welcome members of our community. Kids Fest stages performances and a variety of kids activities. Come welcome the summer at this fun filled event!
Farmers Market
Enjoy the fruits of the season at the Lake Oswego Farmers Market. Located in downtown LO, this popular market hosts a variety of treats and entertainment. The LOMC provides a booth during the September market with child activities to share with the community.
